Description
Just 200 meters into the Summit Trail is the Towerman's Hut, a picnic area. From here you can go onto to the top of Mount Frankland takes you to the Towerman's Lookout at the Summit.
An old hut sits at the picnic area & can be viewed.
This free point of interest offers nice scenery, wildlife viewing and walking tracks.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
The Nth Walpole Road eventually turns to gravel with corrugations, about 12km out from the point of interest. Not pleasant for 2WD Campervans.
No dogs as is a National Park.
