Description

The Tagon Coastal Trail winds through coastal heath and across rocky headlands, providing excellent vantage points for whale watching during late winter and spring. Southern Right and Humpback whales are regularly seen along this part of the coast during late winter and spring, especially when they come close to the granite headlands. You might also see dolphins, seabirds and rock-basking lizards. The Tagon Coastal Trail is a moderately difficult track featuring views over the Cape Arid coastline. Allow up to 6 hours to complete this 15km return trek. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
