Description

This is a free point of interest. No camping or overnight parking allowed. 27th August 1944 P/O AJ Ingram and P/O CL King, crashed Ingram walked for 4 days without food and water b4 reaching his safety. A long search for King was carried out but his body was never found. Parts of the aircraft have been used in the museum at Bull Creek with the restoration of the Vultee Vengence. RIP p/o King
