Approx 25km north of Beacon. Crimpy's Tank has approx 4.5 million litre capacity, built of reinforced concrete in 1966, it stores rainwater collected by a low rock wall surrounding the nearby granite used by farmers for stock and household use. Crimpy's is a good picnic site and boasts a variety of wildflowers in season. There are traces of sandalwood cutters tracks on the east and north-east of the rock.
This is also a good site for birdwatching. Van access.
