Big Yellow 'Tonka' Truck

Description
Mount Tom Price, a particularly large and rich resource of hematite iron, became the base on which Australia's largest iron ore enterprise is based. The Mark 36 Electra Haul Truck near this cache served at the Tom Price Mine between 1980 and 1992. It is estimated that it moved 23 million tonnes of ore. Without these giants and their modern counterparts, the ore industry in WA wouldn't be as important as it is today. This Free Point of Interest offers drinking water and a dump point. There is parking for caravans. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
