16km return - Allow 6 hours (begin at Python Pool car park)
Follow the Chichester Range Camel Trail to Python Pool.
This trail is for very experienced bushwalkers and is best
walked between April and September as there is no shelter from the sun. It includes steep gradients and natural obstacles including loose rocks. You will walk via McKenzie Spring before eventually reaching the Cameleers Lookout. From here it is 1.2km to Python Pool. Enjoy a rest and take in the views before descending. Use caution as the track surface is loose and rocky.
