Today, this site is quiet with not a building to be seen. Yet once it was a small but bustling town, the first Doodlakine township. t was first gazetted as a town in 1891. A few years later the railway reached the town but was sited five kilometres to the south so the town moved to be adjacent the railway line.
There are no facilities. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
The site is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans. Camping in tents is NOT allowed. You must have your own toilet.
Dogs are permitted.
