Rochester Sports Museum is run by Rochester Lions Club. The collection has been donated by John Forbes of Mitiamo. John was National Promotions Manager for PUMA for 22 years. During this time he amassed a private collection from a varying array of sports and personalities. Items on display include Adam Gilchrist's cricket gloves, Merv Hughes cricket jumper, Hat signed by Greg Norman - Herb Elliotts blazer from the 1956 games is also on display. Don't miss this museum. The display has been prepared by a professional curator. A theatre room features a 15 minute story about John Forbes and the collection. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Public Holidays, School Holidays and by Appointment (for group bookings call 0418 506 228). Open from 10am to 4pm. Museum also acts as an Information Centre. No camping or overnight parking.
