Portsea pier has two platforms for visitor use and is popular for snorkeling/diving with Weedy Seadragons. Peer into the waters from the pier to spot rays gliding along the seabed or go diving around the piers wooden beams to catch glimpses of rare sea creatures.
Take a seat on the historic wooden pier and enjoy a picnic while enjoying the stunning Port Phillip Bay views or relax on the sandy beach.
Jumping and diving off the pier and other structures is prohibited for public safety. There are shallow areas and often unexpected submerged objects.
Limited parking. Warm, private showers in the toilet block.
Ensure dogs are kept on lead at all times and clean up after your dog.
No camping or overnight parking.
