An 8m high Cliff of Melbourne formation sediments occur in this area. Along the western bank of the creek basalt outcrops can be found, indicating the edge of the lava flow. The cliff formation illustrates the junction of the basalt and Melbourne formation settlements forming one of the best vertical sections of sediment in Melbourne. No camping or overnight parking.
