Lawrence Lookout
Point of InterestDescription
Lawrence Lookout is definitely worth the detour off the Murray Valley Highway. On a clear day, it offers unbeatable 360 degree views of the surrounding pine plantations and stunning mountain landscapes. In winter, snow-capped peaks are clearly visible from the lookout. Located approximately 39 kilometres from Corryong
The lookout is located 2kms off the Murray Valley Highway, down a gravel road which is best suited to 4WDs in wet weather, but is accessible by car during the dry summer months.
There are toilets, picnic tables and a stone cairn which was erected in 1966 with an interpretive plaque pointing out all the notable surrounding peaks.
