First & Second World War Memorial
Point of InterestDescription
The Wallinduc War Memorial is located on a road reserve at the intersection of the Lismore - Pitfield Road and the Berrybank - Wallinduc Road, adjacent to the Wallinduc CFA Shed. The memorial takes the form of a vernacular stone cairn, constructed of approximately twenty highly irregular courses of basalt, situated on concrete plinth. The cairn features two embossed brass plaques that commemorate those soldiers who served in the First and Second World War. The memorial was erected by the Wallinduc community as a tribute to those members of the local community that served and fell in each of the great wars.
There is also a sheltered picnic table next to the fire station.
NO camping or overnight parking.
