----- Take your budget further and get 5% off when you use the code WELWIKI5 on your booking through the link on WikiCamps. Enjoy your experience! ----- Travelling in a different direction to the majority of the other buses leaving Melbourne, this Reverse Great Ocean Road tour shows you all the highlights without the crowds. A longer drive through the back country roads in the morning means you'll arrive at famous Port Campbell National Park and the 12 Apostles long before other buses show up. Start the trip with a stop in Colac, where you can grab some morning tea, before hitting the road to the main sights. Take some time to admire the amazing limestone stack formations of the 12 Apostles and spend your time walking along the boardwalks and capture some perfect photos of the 12 Apostles in the morning sun. Afterwards, wend your way along Shipwreck Coast to Loch Ard George, and hear the dramatic shipwreck tale that accompanies this serene location. Walk down on to the beach and get the sand in-between your toes, or walk out over the top of the George and find the Island Archway and Razorback rock formations. Next, enjoy a fresh sandwich lunch as the other tourist buses start to arrive... you won't be with the crowds for long, however! The tour continues east along the Great Ocean Road, moving inland through towering Eucalyptus trees to an area of cool temperate rainforest. You'll be amazed at the difference in scenery as you take a walk through the tree ferns and marvel at the 'ancient relics' - the Myrtle Beach trees. These towering trees provide perfect canopy shade and can be traced back to when Australia was part of a super continent known as Gondwanaland. Breath in the fresh rainforest air before hopping back in the bus to continue travelling to the beautiful Surf Coa
