Join this fantastic 2-day trip along the famous Great Ocean Road and across the mighty Grampians. We will stop at breath-taking places, such as the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Halls Gap, Mackenzie Falls and other magnificent must-sees of Victoria.
Day 1 - Great Ocean Road
Escaping the city to cruise down the magnificent Great Ocean Road for stunning coastal views. We visit the Memorial Arch to stretch our legs and take a photo. Stop at the seaside township of Apollo Bay, and then be guided through an easy walk in one of the world's oldest temperate rainforests in the Great Otway National Park. We then stop at several extraordinary rock formations along the Shipwreck Coast, including the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge. Tonight we sleep in the incredible Grampians National Park.
Day 2 - Grampians / Melbourne
An early start gives us the opportunity to view local native wildlife such as Kangaroos, Wallabies, Emus, Native Birds and the elusive Echidna in their natural habitat. From Halls Gap we travel into the heart of the Grampians, taking in the spectacular views from Boroka Lookout, Reids Lookout & short walks to both The Balconies (Jaws Of Death) and McKenzie Falls, the largest and most impressive waterfall in the Grampians National Park. Along the way you will learn about local history and the culture of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurrung Aboriginal people. (B)
