Description

With a surface area of 2,778 hectares and a circumference of 33 kilometres, Lake Colac is the largest natural freshwater lake in Victoria. The lake has an average maximum depth of 2.5 metres, however in recent years the level has been much lower than this. This free day use area offers nice scenery and wildlife viewing. It is dog friendly. The area is very small with limited turn around areas. NOT SUITABLE FOR CARAVANS OR LARGE VEHICLES. No camping or overnight parking.
