Unofficial summer camping in a scenic, grassy area, set above Buller Creek, surrounded by thick forest. The area is used as a car park for Mount Buller Staff during the winter months.
Toilets and a playground are located at the picnic area across the road, a short walk away. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Klingsporn Bridle Track
Distance: 6.7km one way
Trail Type: Advanced - 1300m of accumulated vertical ascent.
Start + Finish points: Mirimbah Park or Clock Tower.
The hike commences from a carpark on Loch Street near the Toll Gate to the Mount Buller Alpine Resort, opposite the Mirimbah Picnic Ground. Locate the Kingsporn Bridle Track to the east and commence the gradual ascent along the northern side of the steep Mirimbah spur.
