A quiet park that offers powered, unpowered sites and ensuite cabin accommodation. Run by committee of management volunteers. Since February 2023, the park has been undergoing improvements and upgrades. Offering close-by river walking tracks, swimming pool and skate park, with cafes and boutique shops a 5 minute walk. The train station (Melbourne to Ararat line) is only a short walk from the main street, about 10 minutes from park. Enjoy a walk through the nearby state parks including the Lerderderg, Wombat, Werribee Gorge and the Bungal (Whipsticks). Perfectly nestled in the Central Highlands with surrounding towns of interest including Ballarat, Daylesford, Bacchus Marsh, Gordon, Myrniong, Blackwood, Trentham, Lal Lal and a 40 minute drive to Geelong.
