Description

The small Wannon Crossing Campground sits adjacent to the tranquil Wannon River and surrounded by dense eucalypt forest. A short drive provides access to iconic peaks including Mount Abrupt or Mount Sturgeon where you can take in the vistas looking over the rugged landscape below. There are no fees and sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. Facilities include toilets and picnic tables. Campfires are only allowed in designated fireplaces, please bring your own fire wood. There are no rubbish collection facilities at this campground. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Pets and generators are not allowed.
