Description
Boreang Campground is located amongst sheltered woodland on the western side of the Wonderland Range. It is close to popular attractions in the Central Grampians and is a great base for exploring the Victoria Valley and Victoria Range.
The campground is located 16.5km west of Halls Gap on Glenelg River Road; this road is unsealed and suitable for two wheel drive vehicles. This is a steep and windy road that is unsuitable for caravans; Boreang Campground is best approached with a caravan from the west.
Advance bookings and payment are required year round. Bookings are for designated sites and are charged per campsite.
There are 12 sites suitable for tent-based camping with adjacent vehicle parking, and 11 drive-in sites suitable for camper trailers, caravans, campervans and large tents. Each site at Boreang Campground accommodates a maximum of 6 people. Sites are unpowered.
Facilities include non-flush toilets, shared fireplaces and shared picnic tables. No drinking water supplied; limited non-potable water may be available from a seasonal rainwater tank. There is no rubbish collection at this campground, please take all rubbish with you.
Campfires are only allowed in designated fireplaces - supply your own wood.
