Description

Bivouac Hut and camping area is a walk in camp half way along the Staircase Spur trail that access's Mt Bogong from the Mt Creek Campground. Passing through a forest of Peppermint Gums the hut is a welcomed resting and camping place before the track passes through Snow gums and out onto the steep rocky ridge leading the summit plateau of Mt Bogong
