Located on Victoria, Australia's famous 'Great Ocean Road', Anglesea Backpackers is a great base to explore the surf coast. We are only minutes from famous 'Bells Beach' and have our own patrolled surf beach near the mouth of the beautiful Anglesea River. We have one dorm-style room with six bunk beds and one family room, consisting of a double bed and two bunk beds. If you're feeling that bit more special, there is also a private room, which includes an ensuite. This private room includes a double bed and single bunk bed along with your own bathroom complete with shower and toilet. All linen including donnas, pillows, pillow cases, donna covers and under sheet is provided, all you need to bring is your teddy! Chill out in the living area after a full day of catching waves. We also have a washing machine and clothes line available. Outdoor BBQ facilities, as well as a fully equipped kitchen are on hand. Bring your own groceries and you will be cooking up a cheap and healthy banquet in no time - we have tea and coffee on hand as well. If you want to buy locally you must bring along a shopping bag/s, as Anglesea is a plastic bag FREE town. To order a cooked breakfast please let us know in advance we can have ready at 9am . Locally we offer coastal town shopping, surf and mountain bike hire, and Internet cafe.
