Description

The Shot Tower Historic Site was built in 1870 (The Tower Residence was built in 1860) has a lovely Tearoom with inside dining in the almost 150 year old heritage listed sandstone building at the base of the Tower or outside in the old stone courtyard, museum a museum, Tower tours, gift shop/souvenirs, beautiful gardens, walking tracks to Taroona or Kingston beach along the Alum Cliffs, wildlife, beautiful views and plenty of free parking for The Shot Tower customers only. This point of interest/lookout also offers toilets and is accessible to most vehicles including buses and RV's. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
