Description

Distance: 2.4km This track provides a link to the network of tracks and fire trails in Wellington Park but it is also a good option for a walk in the bush close to the city, with or without your dog. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, there are numerous wallaby runways that cross the track. A lovely arched stone bridge has been built at the first creek crossing to commemorate Peter Degraves, the founder of Cascade Brewery. At the end of the track you can retrace your steps or continue up kunanyi / Mount Wellington via the Myrtle Gully Track.
