This is an old military outpost, now memorial. Vehicle camping was available and easiest. There is a lighthouse on the point and if you follow the dirt road on the south side of the parking lot it continues under the lighthouse where there is an old howitzer bunker with a flat and covered concrete pad where a tent can be pitched. A great place if it is windy or raining. Be cautious, there is a significant amount of glass around the bunker area which can rip a tent but was easily removed off the pad to make a space. Overall a beautiful place near Hobart. FREE
