Description

Point of interest on privately owned land between the Heysen & Mawson trails, Wirrabara Forest. Around 1900 orchardist Mr Percy Curnow built a fruit cellar in a hill. Visiting by arrangement by booking rocket stove and toilet through Youcamp.com, 'SundancingatWirrabaraForest,' 'Cooking at Mr. Curnow's.' Although the site is not a camping ground Youcamp.com visitors are welcome to bring sleeping arrangements with them. There are no amenities or facilities other than those they hire through Youcamp. Site is closed during high fire danger periods. Dogs on leash at all times.
