Camping is permitted to the south of the Pinks Beach entrance on Pinks Beach Road. Western facing, the sand is hard enough to drive along but very soft when moving above the compacted sand. For the reason the council recommends 4WD only, and Towables are not recommended. A very popular site on the beach with plenty of room and plenty of campers. 2 bars of Telstra 5G. No camping permitted to the north of Pinks Beach Road, in the sand dunes or in areas of vegetation.
