Free area on Lake George, made in with the Woakwine project. Lake George has magnificent bird life and offers excellent windsurfing. Short term camping is allowed. Respect the environment and others users who wants to enjoy this area. Leave no trace of your visit. See pictures for rules. To add to this and admin can amend. It is beach camping. One spot where it is sheltered could maybe get 2 vans in however the ground is soft and you could get bogged. Better for 4wd with no van just tents . The beach itself when we were there had lots of soft dopts where vehicles had got stuck. Good fin for some but others may not appreciate. A nice quite place to relax for sure.
