The Callington RV Park is situated just off the SE Freeway between Murray Bridge and Mount Barker. It's an excellent place to stop, next to the Callington Recreation Park which has two ovals (one premier) with turf cricket pitches. The park also contains a bike BMX pump track, playground, public toilets, BBQ facilities with light at night, dump point, basketball court and the Callington Recreation Community Centre. Time your stay to watch a game of cricket, rugby or darts. $10 per RV or caravan per night. You can pay your fees at the centre which opens daily for drinks and bar snacks from 5:00pm. Everything is run by volunteers so nice to support it. Great coffee, friendly locals. Everyone welcome. Cash only. The park is closed for a week at the end of October for the Callington Show.
