Wavelength Reef Cruises
Point of InterestDescription
For most of us, a visit to the Great Barrier Reef is a once in a lifetime experience, so make it count! Snorkelling is the best and easiest way to see the reef because 90% of its diversity occurs within 4 metres of the surface. Thats why weve specialised in snorkelling since starting our tours to the Outer Reef in 1986.
At Wavelength we strive to do everything possible to provide the best outer reef experience available in a day trip, in a low impact way. Being locally owned and operated by marine biologists, were focused on small groups with a high level of interpretation. It makes the day more rewarding and more fun, for everyone.
Wavelength has a maximum group size of only 48 passengers. Small numbers ensures personal, friendly service and provides the best possible wildlife viewing.
We visit three outer reef sites each day. The skipper picks these on the day, from our wide selection of exclusive outer reef moorings. Our aim is always to show you the best reef, and the diversity of reef types.
