In May of 1891 approximately 400 shearers camped at Union Hole during the great shearers' strike. Union Hole is where the shearers drew water and carted it back to their camp by dray. There are still some remains of the campsite.
There are no facilities. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Entry is visa unsealed road.
