Thornburgh House is a two story brick villa constructed in 1889 for mining magnate Edmund Harris Thornburgh Plant. In 1919 it became a boarding school, a function which continues today.
The building is in the grounds of what is now Blackheath & Thornburgh College & is currently used for College Administration.
It can be easily seen from the street to admire & photograph.
No camping or overnight parking.
