Rich in character and an integral part of Queenslands pastoral heritage Taromeo, established by Scottish migrant Simon Scott in 1842 and still operational today, has been restored over the years to its former glory and for the benefit of the South Burnett history and heritage. It has been listed by the National Trust and registered with the Australian Heritage Commission.
