Explore Pittsworth's rich pioneer history
The Pioneer Historical Village provides a lasting reminder of the early development of Pittsworth and the surrounding rural district through the use of original buildings, equipment and artifacts.
There are many displays featured including:
buildings set up in the era - apparel, lacework, early settlers, settlements, machinery.
The museum is also home to a display of memorabilia boasting the feats of Arthur Postle, known as the 'Crimson Flash' - Australia and the world's fastest athlete in the early 1900s.
The Pittsworth Pioneer Historical Village site was established by the Pittsworth and District Historical Society in conjunction with Council.
