Mt Garnet to Lappa Junction Rail Trail
Point of InterestDescription
The southern start point of a rail trail - a former railway line that is an even grade, 8.2km bush bike / 4WD/ bushwalk trail to the northwest of this PIO.
The former railway formation is mostly intact and cuts through small hills and over deep gullies.
There is an opportunity to explore the rail trail further than the 8.2km, all the way to Lappa.
At least one group of horses is wandering about on the trail, as evidenced by the horse dung deposits all along the route.
Cycling time about 90mins each direction.
