3.7km return, allow 3hrs return Best time: sunrise or sunset when you can also watch the moon rise (bring a torch for the return trip).
Walk alongside Lawn Hill Creek before taking a steady climb up the ancient sandstone ridge of the Constance Range. Sit down to catch your breath and enjoy the silence before embarking on the 475m ridgetop circuit. Fantastic panoramic views over the black soils of the Gulf Savanna Plains can be had from the lookout.
This is a challenging walk, suited to experienced bushwalkers. For a less strenuous pace, walk 750m beside Lawn Hill Creek returning when the track leaves the creek edge and starts to climb up.
