Cobb & Co. Crossing
Point of InterestDescription
This Stone Crossing was used by many different sources of transport. One of the most common was the well now I'm coaching company cob and co.
During the late 1890s Thargomindah became the home for coaches servicing the distance settlements of Hungerford, Wompah, Oontoo, Kyabra and Toompine.
Just west of the bridges, on the south side of the road, a sign points the direction down a dirt track 100 m to the crossing.
