Cardwell Spa Pool
Point of InterestDescription
**The Pools are ephemeral by nature and rely on decent rain to flow, so if it is dry there won't be much to see**
This free point of interest offers nice scenery and swimming. It is dog friendly.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
Dirt/unsealed road to access this location.
Limited parking for long vehicles, road is unsealed.
Picnic tables.
Not worth the trip on the dirt road if there has not been rain. Scrubby creek flows through the spa pool (one section is man made to look like a spa). It relies solely on rainwater for it to flow - during the dry season flow slows right down and can stop completely. (This is shown on the information sign at the site - I have a pic of the info sign but don't know how to add it here as yet). We just went there zero water flowing, stagnant green/brown water only in a couple of small pools & the manmade spa. It was neither attractive nor appealing. I'm sure in wet season it will be completely different.
