A visit to the Blackall Historical Woolscour is a unique experience where the original wool scouring (cleaning) machinery can be seen in operation. The ingenuity from over a century ago is there for you to see in action as the passionate tour guides offer insights into the lives of our rural forefathers involved in the wool industry around the time of the industrial revolution. The original steam engine has also been refurbished and operates periodically for those steam buffs.
One of a number of great tourist destinations in this small Central West town. Worthy of a couple of days of your time so plug Blackall into your itinerary when you next explore Queensland.
