Description

The Herberton - Atherton Historic Railway is a transportation service that goes to the Historic Village Herberton from the station in town. On-leash, well behaved dogs are permitted to travel on the train. In partnership with the volunteers at the Atherton-Herberton Historic Railway (Ath-Rail), the Village offers train rides every Sunday between 10am-3pm on the Tinlander. It takes around 20 minutes return. Herberton station is the home of the only railway museum in far north Qld. Railway Museum open Saturday and Sunday 9.00 am to 3.00pm. No camping or overnight parking.
