Abandoned Gold Mine

Walk through riparian rainforest to an old gold mine from the 1920's. The remaining entrance can still be viewed but the mine is closed for public safety. Eastern horseshoe bats and common bentwing bats live in the mine.
The mine is reachable by a Grade 3 walk from the north (distances are one-way):
Boolumba Creek Camp #3 (and #4) - 1.6km
Boolumba Creek day-use area 3.1km - 'allow 2.5h return'
Boolumba Creek Camp #1 - 3.8km
