Description

----- Take your budget further and get 5% off when you use the code WELWIKI5 on your booking through the link on WikiCamps. Enjoy your experience! ----- This Waterfalls and Rainforest tour is a fantastic fun-filled journey through North Queensland's spectacular Atherton Tableland's Region. Hop on board 'Gus The Wonder Bus' for this full-day adventure, starting with pick up from your Cairns accommodation. First up is Josephine Falls, which is fed from Mt Bartle Frere. This amazing three stage rainforest waterfall has the most awesome swimming hole in Australia. The smooth granite rockface has formed a natural slide into the bottom pool, which provides the perfect spot for another refreshing swim. Having worked up an appetite, stop for a hot delicious lunch before moving on to Milla Milla Falls. Get ready to swim behind a 30 metre (100 foot) waterfall. It's also the perfect place to do the famous hair flick for the 'gram. Finally, the last stop of the day is Lake Eacham, a volcanic crater lake that's over 60 meters deep and was created by underground pressure that eventually erupted and left a large crater. Plus, if you're taking the tour between April and October, there's also the opportunity to spot local platypus, one of the world's cutest creatures.
