View the ancient volcanic peaks of the Glass House Mountains, walk through the lush rainforests, take in the breathtaking scenery lose yourself in the natural beauty and serenity of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Your day starts with collection from your coastal accommodation. When we arrive at the hinterland village of Montville, you can spend an hour checking out the delightful shops and boutiques, enjoying this picture-postcard village and its fresh mountain air. Having explored Montville, it's time for lunch. Depending on availability, your gourmet lunch will be at either Secrets on the Lake which is set in the rainforest on the side of Lake Baroon near Montville, or The Edge Café Bar and Restaurant in Montville which is perched on the edge of the escarpment & offers panoramic views of the Sunshine coastline. Regardless of the lunch venue, you'll enjoy a delicious 2-course meal included in the tour. One of two scenic lookouts we stop at will be Gerrard's Lookout, high on the hill this lookout offers coastline views to Coolum, Maroochydore, Caloundra and Bribie Island. As we travel along the Blackall Range, we stop at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, a scenic rainforest reserve set on 55 hectares of subtropical rainforest overlooking the stunning Glass House Mountains. The Mapleton Falls lookout for some is a highlight of their day, a hidden treasure in the Hinterland region, this scenic lookout offers amazing views over the Obi Obi Valley and the top of a lush rainforest canopy. Last but not least, is a stop at the Ginger Factory.
