This tour will drive you from Brisbane or Noosa/Sunshine Coast to the Australia Zoo located in Beerwah, Queensland It also includes admission, plus 5 hours to explore all of the exhibits!
Skip the crowded coach bus! This tour specializes in small group tours, so you'll travel in a comfortable, luxury vehicle. That also means less transit time, no rushing, and more time to experience the Australia Zoo!
The Australia Zoo is Steve Irwin's legacy. When Steve passed away in 2006, his wife, Terri, and their children Bindi and Robert helped grow the zoo into what it is today. Now, it is home to more than one thousand native and exotic animals, including lemurs, crocodiles, elephants, rhinos, and koalas. It attracts thousands of people each year because of its more of a wildlife conservation center and learning experience for guests. Here, you can interact with animals, ask questions to zookeepers, visit the wildlife hospital, and watch entertaining shows. Be sure to stop at Roo Heavens to feed a kangaroo, the Koala Walkthrough to pet a koala, and take a seat at the Crocoseum to watch the wildlife warriors!
Keep in mind, this is not a guided tour. You're free to roam around the zoo at your own pace! After 6 hours, the tour will pick you up at the entrance and drive your group back to Brisbane.
