Description

In semi-arid, south-western Queensland, Tregole National Park straddles the boundary between two of the states natural regions, the brigalow belt and the mulga lands. The park protects a small, almost pure stand of ooline Cadellia pentastylis, an attractive dry rainforest tree dating back to the Ice Ages Enjoy a easy 2.1 kilometre bushwalk to see this parks main attraction: the Ooline trees which are currently vulnerable to extinction. Many other species of tree and plant are also labelled, including Black orchids. Toilets and picnic facilities are available. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
