Access to 'The Oaks' has changed so that day use visitation only is now permitted. Camping will no longer be allowed at 'The Oaks' due to the high level of degradation to the site. Parking facilities have been provided at The Oaks to allow day visits and other facilities may be added when the site is rehabilitated. Rangers have made upgrades to other camping areas to ensure there is no overall reduction to available campsites. As a result, additional campsites are available in the following areas: S.S. Dorrigo camping area M.V. Natone camping area M.V. Beagle camping area M.V. Sarawak camping area Permits can be obtained online www.parks.des.qld.gov.au/parks/inskip-peninsula/ Observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers, and do not enter closed areas.
