Description

A drive of fewer than 4 km along a sealed road leads you to this outback gem. Here you can fish year-round (barramundi and sooty grunter) (if you don't have a QLD impounded waters permit you can get one from the Post Office in town). Also you can swim or use any sort of recreational water craft, bird watch from the hide, enjoy a barbeque in the shaded picnic area, or let the kids have a go on the playground equipment. It is accessible to motorbikes, RVs, camper trailers and caravans. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
