Hughenden Recreational Lake opened early 2020. A beautiful, unexpected oasis in the outback. Spend hours of fun by the water swimming, bird watching, fishing or boating. You can also stretch the legs & walk around the 3.6km path surrounding the lake, or unleash the kids for some fun on the playground. Vehicle access to the lake is via Mowbray and Moran Streets, with path links to the lake leading from Stansfield Street. There is a formal park entry for pedestrians from Mowbray Street. No camping or overnight parking.
