Description

Ewen Maddock Dam was constructed in two stages in 1976 and 1983 across Addlington Creek, a tributary of the Mooloolah River. Located on the Sunshine Coast, Ewen Maddock Dam is part of South East Queenslands drinking water supply. This day use area offers toilets, nice scenery and Mountain Biking and walking tracks. The MTB Track is a 10km loop which is generally easy with a few more technical sections. It is sometimes used for competitive MTB and trail running events. Caution turning right into this area as there is no turning lane. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. You may lead a maximum of two dogs at a time. Dogs are prohibited from all foreshore areas and boat ramps. Dogs, and other pets, are not permitted to enter the lake at any time. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
