Tthis is a rest area as well as the point of the start of the walking track to the lake. The kiosk has information about the area.
No camping or overnight parking allowed anywhere in the park.
Walks:
Circuit walk to Lake Bindegolly - 9.2km loop
Bird viewing site - 4.5km one-way
Rest Site with lake view - 2.5km one-way
INFORMATION FROM THE SIGN
When visiting the park please remember:
- No boating or fishing is allowed
- Leave all plants, animals, rocks and artefacts as you find them
- Leave pets outside - they frighten wildlife and can become lost
- Firearms or other weapons are allowed
- Notify a friend or relative of your plans
- Walk, don't drive into the park
- Remove all rubbish when you leave

Walkers - for your safety
- Walk only during cooler parts of the day
(even in winter).
- Daytime temperatures in summer
can exceed 45°C. Shade is limited.
- Wear a hat, protective clothing
and sunscreen to prevent sunburn.
- Wear sturdy shoes.
- Carry drinking water.
- Keep to the track. Landmarks are few and far apart.
- Be aware of the time, don't get caught out.
- The average person walks 4km in one hour.
