Description

The Southern Cross Caravan Park is located in Hungerford, and is within a short driving distance of the Currawinya National Park. The Park caters for Caravans, Campers and Coaches with powered and unpowered sites available. A Shower and Toilet Block together with Laundry Facilities are located on site. Camp Fire sites and firewood are also provided for travellers free of charge. The Southern Cross Caravan Park is maintained by the Bulloo Shire Council, and the Caretaker is generally in attendance in the precincts of the town of Hungerford between 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. If the Caretaker is unavailable, or visitors leave outside the designated hours, they are requested to deposit fees in the Honesty Box provided at the site. If change is required, it can be obtained from the Royal Mail Hotel in the main street of Hungerford. Meals, fuel, and postal facilities are also available at the Royal Mail.
